Typed Letter signed, Silver Lake, New Hampshire, 1959, one page, with envelope, explaining that he thinks the only painting of his in England is a watercolour belonging to Solly Zuckerman, mentioning publication of reproductions and his wife's photographic contribution to a new collection in a planned publication, and A Miscellany which "comprises some possibly illuminating essays concerning one artist versus UNart [sic]; but I'd be really surprised if this book ever reached GB." Two Typed Letters and a Typed Postcard signed, 1971 and 1972, Newcastle-upon-Tyne, 2 pages, with envelopes and enclosing a brief CV and reviews of The Loiners, agreeing to give a poetry reading although he cannot subsidise it himself, whilst recommending funding possibilities, worrying about duplicating the poems for the students (on the grounds of possible copyright infringement and loss of income, suggesting they buy paperback copies of the book) and questioning the merit of doing so in any case, thanking him for payment and mentioning that a jamboree has raised 200 pounds for the Miner's Fund.Heaney (Seamus). Four Autograph Letters signed and an Autograph Postcard, 1968 to 1983 and no date, Belfast, Dublin an Cambridge, three pages, the letters with envelopes, discussing plans and details for a forthcoming visit, saying that having students read the poems might make the programme a little stiff, and that he thinks Anne Stevenson is an ideal candidate, also saying that he has been at Harvard as usual, and thanking him for payment for the reading.Hunter (Evan).
