Peake (Mervyn).  Introduction by Peake Plates in colour and black-and-white The Grey Walls Press,  1949 First Edition    Variant binding, grey cloth, spine lettered in black Light browning to free end-papers, but a very nice copy in slightly soiled and edgeworn dust-wrapper which is foxed on the verso  The title is given on the spine and the dust-wrapper as “The Drawings of Mervyn Peake”. The book did not actually appear until September 1950.
