The Voyages and Adventures of Captain Robert Boyle, in several parts of the world: intermixed with the story of Mrs. Villars, an English lady, with whom he made his surprising escape from Barbary; likewise including the history of an Italian captive and the life of Don Pedro Aquilio, &c. Full of various and amazing turns of fortune

Blunt (Wilfrid Scawen). [Chetwood (William Rufus)]   W. Lowndes,  1787 New Edition   12mo Original blue wrappers, uncut. Four pages of advertisements at end Some soiling to wrappers, backstrip torn at head and foot, but otherwise a nice copy; ownership signature. Blunt’s copy, inscribed by him in pencil on the inner upper wrapper “This is a made up history, of no value whatsoever W.S.B. 1908” and with his Crabbet Park bookplate  It is unclear whether this edition should have a frontispiece but we do not believe that this copy was issued with one.
